Hanco*ck and the Mariners will not play Friday after their contest against the Rockies was postponed due to inclement weather, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday. Hanco*ck and Dakota Hudson had been slated to start Friday but will be pushed back at least one day to Saturday.

Mariners' Cody Bolton: Breezes through one rehab inning

Bolton (illness) fired a scoreless relief inning in Triple-A Tacoma's loss to Las Vegas on Thursday, issuing a walk and recording two strikeouts.
Bolton jumped into game action for the first time since April 5 and was exceedingly sharp, firing 11 of his 14 pitches for strikes. The right-hander appears to be over his recent bout with kidney stones, and given his success Thursday, he could well be activated when first eligible Sunday as previously suggested by general manager Justin Hollander.

Mariners' Collin Snider: Makes first rehab appearance

Snider (knee) allowed an earned run on two hits over one inning in a relief appearance for Triple-A Tacoma against Las Vegas on Thursday. He struck out two.
Snider landed 13 of 19 pitches for strikes in his first time on a mound since taking a comebacker to his left knee against the Brewers on April 7. He'll likely make one more rehab appearance before potentially being activated when first eligible Tuesday.

Miller (3-1) earned the win over the Reds on Wednesday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk over six innings while striking out seven.
Miller was dominant Wednesday, doing much of the work with his four-seamer as he held the Reds to just one hit over six frames. The only run he allowed was a solo homer off the bat of Elly De La Cruz, the first home run he's given up over his last three starts. Miller has dazzled on the mound since taking the loss in his first start of the season and now holds a 0.47 ERA in April to go along with an 18:5 K:BB. Furthermore, the right-hander has now gone at least six innings in three consecutive starts, allowing no more than three hits in each of those outings.

The rookie continued to provide a much-needed spark to the underachieving Mariners offense in his third major-league start. Clase helped manufacture Seattle's fourth run of the game with the help of trademark speed he so often flashed during his minor-league career, drawing a seventh-inning walk, swiping second and then coming around to score on a Mitch Haniger single. Clase's strong early returns should further ensure he'll remain in a near everyday role while Dominic Canzone (shoulder) is on the shelf.

Mariners' Josh Rojas: Delivers as pinch hitter Wednesday

Rojas entered Wednesday's win over the Reds as a pinch hitter in the seventh inning and remained in the game at third base, going 1-for-2 with a solo home run.
Rojas immediately delivered upon being inserted into the game to lead off the seventh, slugging a solo blast for his first home run of the season and extending the Mariners' lead to 3-1 at the time. The 29-year-old has now hit safely in five straight games, and with a .343 average and .896 OPS overall this year, he's clearly been one of the most productive hitters in a collection of mostly underachieving Seattle bats.

Several Mariners hitters enjoyed solid offensive performances Wednesday, but Raleigh set the pace with his three trips on the basepaths. That included the backstop's co-team-high third homer of the season, which erased an early 1-0 deficit for Seattle in the second inning. Raleigh has now reached safely in five straight games, and a career-high 13.1 percent walk rate has helped him get to a .311 on-base percentage despite an uninspiring .208 average.

Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Activated, optioned to Triple-A

The Mariners reinstated Haggerty (medical procedure) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma.
Haggerty opened the season on the shelf after he underwent an unspecified medical procedure at some point late in spring training. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment with Tacoma on April 5 and will end up sticking around with the affiliate after going 6-for-21 with two stolen bases across six games. Haggerty should still be one of the top options for a call-up if the Mariners have a need for an extra bench bat down the road.

The 27-year-old southpaw has taken well to his new organization after signing a minor-league deal with the Mariners in January. Diaz has allowed just a single earned run for the Rainiers -- all the more impressive given the fact he's toiling in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League. Diaz mustered a 2-1 record and 3.49 ERA across 28.1 innings during his first two big-league stints with the Angels in 2021 and 2022, but he had a rough seven-inning tenure with Los Angeles last season during which he posted a 10.29 ERA and 2.86 WHIP. Control has been a persistent issue during Diaz's brief big-league stays in the past, but his elite 27:1 K:BB thus far with Tacoma suggests he may be starting to turn a corner in that department.

Mariners' Andres Munoz: Used before ninth inning Tuesday

Munoz recorded his third hold in a win over the Reds on Tuesday, firing 1.1 scoreless innings during which he allowed a hit and a walk while recording three strikeouts.
Munoz relieved Logan Gilbert with two outs in the seventh inning and a man on, and after issuing a walk to Elly De La Cruz, he surrendered a hit to Nick Martini but was bailed out when De La Cruz was thrown out at third base on a stellar outfield assist by Julio Rodriguez. Munoz was exponentially more effective in the eighth inning while recording swinging strikeouts against all three batters he faced to preserve Seattle's 3-1 lead, and he then saw Ryne Stanek entrusted with the ninth inning until Stanek worked himself into trouble and was bailed out by Tayler Saucedo. The Mariners' closer role therefore appears to be somewhat in flux, but Munoz has four straight scoreless appearances during which he's picked up his most recent save, a win and back-to-back holds.

Crawford's multi-hit effort was his first of the season -- a much-needed shot in the arm for his struggling bat.
